Dürer's Rhinoceros, 1515 Tee

Dürer never saw a rhinoceros. He cut this from a written description and someone else's sketch in 1515, gave it armour plating and a second horn, and it stayed in European textbooks as the correct picture of a rhino for two hundred and fifty years.
